How to avoid coronavirus infection

According to the advice of the NHS, wash your hands thoroughly. Cover your mouth while coughing or sneezing and avoid touching the eyes, nose and mouth if your hands are not clean.

No such evidence has been found that the corona virus is spread through parcels, letters or food. Viruses such as the corona virus cannot survive outside the body for much longer.

How much danger?

Chief medical officers in Britain have lowered the level of public danger to moderate. However, the NHS says that personally the risk is minimal.

However, there are some countries where people prone to corona virus are more likely to come in contact. Therefore, special advice has been issued in Britain for people who have returned from China, Italy and Iran.

If you become infected with it, mild symptoms will occur. You can also overcome its infection.

Scientists believe that the rate of deaths from disease is low. It is between 1 and 2 percent. It has also been learned that those who died were either aged or had a disease already.

But, this is a point to note. That the cases of the initial level of the virus and those with mild symptoms have not yet been counted. Therefore, the reported number of infected cases cannot be said to be completely reliable.

What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

Symptoms of COVID-19

This coronavirus (Covide-19) first has a fever, followed by a dry cough, and then a week of breathing becomes troublesome.

However, these symptoms do not mean that you have corona virus infection.

Similar symptoms are also found in some other viruses like colds and flu. In severe cases of corona virus, pneumonia, excessive breathing difficulties, kidney failure and even death can occur.

The risk can be serious in the case of older people and people who already have a disease (eg asthma, diabetes, heart disease).

How to keep yourself alone?

If you have come from an infected area or have been in contact with an infected person, then you can be advised to stay alone. In such a way, adopt these methods –

  • Stay at home.
  • Do not go to office, school or public places.
  • Do not travel by public transport such as bus, train, auto or taxi.
  • Try to get household goods from someone else.
  • Do not call the guests at home.

If you are living with more people then be more cautious. Stay in a separate room and clean the shared kitchen and bathroom continuously.

Keep doing this for 14 days so that the risk of infection can be reduced.

If found infected with coronavirus …

Currently, there is no cure for corona virus but medicines can be given to reduce the symptoms of the disease.

Until you get well, you have to be different from others.

Work is underway to develop a vaccine to treat the corona virus. It is expected that by the end of the year it will be tested on humans.

Some hospitals are also testing anti-viral medicine.
