Keto diet is known as low carbohydrate diet. With the help of this diet, the body produces ketone in the liver for the production of energy. The keto diet plan is also known by names like Ketogenic Diet, Low Carb Diet, Fat Diet. Generally when you eat more carbohydrate food, your body produces glucose and insulin and since your body uses glucose as the primary energy, then fat present in your diet your body is stored.
In keto diets, energy is produced from fat by reducing the intake of carbohydrate. This process is called ketosis. Fat consumption more in keto diet, medium of protein and less of carbohydrate is consumed. This diet should contain approximately 70 percent fat, 25 percent protein, and 5 percent carbohydrate.
