Know what the BCG vaccine is and how it works

Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG vaccine) is a vaccine that is mainly applied to prevent tuberculosis (TB). In countries where tuberculosis is often, infants of those countries are advised to put a vaccine of BCG as soon as possible. BCG vaccination only children under the age of 35 years and recommended on the NHS for children and adults, Those who are considered to be at risk of catching tuberculosis (TB). BCG vaccine is not given to any person over 35 years of age because there is no evidence that it works for people of this age group. This is useful only for patients of TB.
